TEAPOT

Teapot is the debut short film by George M. Atkinson, introducing the surreal, symbol-driven style that would come to define Effortless Pictures.

Set in a world where traumas take the form of physical objects, the story follows a man undergoing treatment at a clinical facility designed to remove these manifestations. His trauma a simple ceramic teapot that he must hold with oven gloves to protect him from the memory of the experience. What begins as a routine procedure slowly unravels into something far more personal, as the man must confront what the object really means and whether he's truly ready to let it go.
